Privacy Policy
Jackjump.com, Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. No cookies. We collect no personal data. The name and current address required before payment processing are sent to Helcim. Or the address derived from allowing location is. The name and billing address entered with credit card info go directly to Helcim. We can't compare the two addresses because we never see the second step. The first is to us, the second is to them.
So allow the location request after clicking the download link if you're in a hurry. Or deny it so you can enter your name in addition to your current address manually (or bring up inspect pane to reload with cache disabled so you can have another go at allowing location). Regardless, it'll all just go to Helcim and be forgotten by us. It is required for checkout. Otherwise, we would never ask for it.
Our website does not retain personal data required by governments. We leave that to Helcim. Bunny CDN may log anonymized access data, but we do not. We took the time to find top quality partners we trust. And have carefully configured things with their systems.

Legal Terms
By downloading or using the Jackjump Windows to Linux Migration Tool, you agree to the following:
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up and preserving your data. Jackjump.com, Inc., Linux Mint, Mint Ubiquity, and contributors (including Grok/xAI and Brave Search/Brave Software) are not liable for data loss, financial loss, or any damages, even if caused by software errors, hardware failures, power outages, or other issues.
- No Refunds unless exchange is possible: The $29.99 tool distribution payment is non-refundable with one exception: if a standard Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 configuration wasn’t supported. If all of the instructions (including FAQs) were followed on adequate hardware without user error but the tool refused to proceed or it stopped before migrating files successfully then upon sharing detailed documentation of the occurrence within 30 days, a refund may be issued. A copy of /var/log/syslog file and a screenshot of error message when the tool stopped are required. Screenshots or log entries that indicate user error, hardware failure or proprietary Windows settings (things best resolved in Windows beforehand) will receive support instead of a refund. Likewise, post-installation script errors are not refunded. Errors with migration tool can be overcome with an updated version of the tool (by starting over with exchanged tool). If an update is possible (and therefore a refund), you will receive a download link to a free updated tool (exchange) in addition to the refund. The refund exception exists for the sole purpose to improve the core Windows to Linux migration tool as designed, not to improve Linux or reverse engineer Windows. After 30 days from the day of purchase no refund wll be issued but an exchange for an updated tool will still be provided within a year, if possible, with requisite error documentation.
- License: The tool grants unlimited use on compatible computers for personal, family, or business purposes.
- Third-Party Services: Our hosting/CDN is provided by bunny.net. Helcim handles our payment processing.
