Privacy Policy

Jackjump.com, Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect no personal data and limit what our partners can collect. The name and current address are requested in US before payment processing and sent to Helcim. Or the address derived from allowing location is. The name, street address and zip entered with credit card info go directly to Helcim. We can't compare names or addresses because we never see the second step (and don't retain the first). The first is to us, the second is to them.

So only when purchasing, location is prompted of all. However, TAMU reverse address lookup from successful geolocation only resolves coordinates within the US. But if location isn't granted, the name is prompted in addition to current address. Regardless, provided names and nearby or entered addresses will go to Helcim but they will be forgotten by us. It is for tax determination and credit card processing validation. Otherwise, we would never ask for it.

We take the time to find top quality partners. And carefully configure things with their systems. We retain the least amount of data possible for the things we do. Propogation of ClickId in URL is transparent. Transaction data of sale with ClickId is sent to Impact for affiliate attribution. Our website does not retain personal data required by governments. We leave that to Helcim. Bunny CDN and Impact Tech log anonymized access data, but we do not.

Contact us at contact@jackjump.com with any privacy concerns.

Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

Effective Date: June 2026
Jackjump.com, Inc. (“Company”, “we”, or “us”), a Wyoming corporation with its principal place of business in Denison, Texas, USA.

By downloading, purchasing, or using the Jackjump Windows to Linux Migration Tool (the “Tool”), you (“User”, "I", or “you”) agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not download, purchase, or use the Tool.

  • 1. User Responsibility and Data Backup
You are solely responsible for backing up all data, files, and settings on your computer before using the Tool. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, financial loss, business interruption, or any other damages — even if caused by software errors, hardware failures, power outages, incompatible hardware, user error, or any other cause. You agree to verify that the migration completed successfully and that all critical data is intact after use.
  • 2. Sales Policy – All Sales Are Final
All sales of the Tool are final. Refunds or chargebacks are permitted only under the narrow exceptions below.
  • Limited 30-Day Refund Exception
A refund may be issued only if you provide clear proof within 30 days of purchase that the Tool failed to migrate a Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, or 11 computer to Linux on adequate hardware, without user error, in a previously unknown manner that can be resolved by an updated version of the Tool.
    Required documentation includes:
    • Description of the issue.
    • A copy of /var/log/syslog.
    • Screenshots showing the exact error message when the Tool stopped, if technically feasible.
We will not issue refunds for user error, hardware incompatibility, proprietary Windows settings, post-installation script issues, or issues that cannot be resolved with an updated Tool. Screenshots or logs indicating user error or hardware failure will result in support assistance rather than a refund.
This “first-to-report” refund is offered solely to help improve the Tool and is limited to the first valid report of a genuine, previously unknown defect. In such cases, you may also receive a free updated version of the Tool.
  • Exchanges
We will provide an exchange (updated version of the Tool) for up to one year from purchase for qualifying technical issues. No refunds are available for business-use purchases at any time, though exchanges may be provided within 30 days for qualifying issues.
After 30 days, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, but exchanges for updated versions remain available for up to one year where technically feasible.
  • 3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Tool on compatible computers for personal, family, or internal business purposes. You may not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
  • 4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE TOOL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Tool will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, be error-free, or successfully migrate every system.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JACKJUMP.COM, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE TOOL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Tool.
  • 5. Third-Party Services
Our website uses third-party providers, including (but not limited to):
    bunny.net (hosting / CDN)
    Helcim (payment processing)
    impact.com (affiliate tracking and commissions)
    Texas A&M GeoServices (reverse geocoding)
We are not responsible for the performance, availability, security, or policies of these third-party providers. Your use of their services is governed by their respective terms.
  • 6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Exclusive venue for any disputes shall be the state or federal courts located in Grayson County, Texas. If that venue is unavailable, venue shall be Collin County, Texas. If Texas jurisdiction is unenforceable, Wyoming law and courts in Teton County (or if unavailable, Laramie County), Wyoming shall apply.
  • 7. Miscellaneous
    • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Tool.
    • If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in full force.
    • We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
    • No waiver of any breach constitutes a waiver of any other breach.
